For 2010 we are focusing on color washing the tents green and projecting shamrocks on the tent top! So fun and festive. Give you guests beads and leis maybe some glow sticks if your feeling groovy and there you have the perfect party atmosphere. Don't forget to add some cocktail tables and festive foods! Here is a fun drink recipe! Wild Irish Rose Recipe 1oz lime juice, 1 oz grenadine, 1 oz bushmills, 7oz ginger ale. Mix and pour over ice top with ginger ale in a 12oz glass! Chairs












Chairs...an easy accessory! The pictures above show a few examples as to how you can maximize your decorating! You can always line the chairs with accent pieces that tie in with the season, flower petals, or votives. If you do not like the look of the chair at your reception site simply add a chair cover and sash. Sashes come in many sizes and fabrics. Satin sashes tie nicely around most chairs by themself as well. Flowers, flower balls, pictures, sashes with tie handles and candles can easily be attached to most types of chairs as well. Graduation



HAPPY GRADUATION!
Believe it or not we are 6 months out from graduation and now is the time to start planning your graduation party! There are a few key items to keep in mind! Number 1 pick a date. To get a leg up on everyone else's graduation party try and host your party before graduation. This is a time when everyone is still excited and not exhausted from going from party to party.
The second decision is location! Most commonly this is done at your residence. A tent provides a perfect party atmosphere and adds protection due to Indiana's unpredictable weather pattern.
The third decision is based on the time of day you hold your event. This is key for budgetary reasons. The time of day will determine the type of food you serve, style of decor, and lighting.
Once all of these decisions are made sit back and relax! Remember to get your invitations out 6 weeks prior to your event!

Don't throw away those mini pumpkins!





Thanksgiving Tablescapes using leftover pumpkins from Halloween...

Idea 1
You'll Need: Black bed rocks, mini pumpkins, cylinder vase, orange pillar candles.


Make a long narrow bed of black bed rocks, set mini pumpkins at various places on rock bed, put a cylinder vase at each end add rocks to the bottom and insert orange pillar candle.




Idea 2
You'll Need: Mini pumpkins, gerbera daisies, pillar candles


Remover wood stem from pumpkins make a 3/4" hole then rotate adding a gerbera daisey and a pillar candle down the middle of the table!

Halloween.... You have to check out www.cheappartychick.com blog it has awesome party ideas!

I love love love this holiday! There are soo many great things you can do to spruce up your decor. If your having a Halloween tent party try using up lights to color the top of the tent then follow up with some die cuts in the shape of the moon, stars, owls, anything Halloweenish. Go out back and find some twigs bunch them together spray paint red add some glitter to the tips and a vase presto...you have a great cheap centerpiece. Add a few votive candles for evening light! Take cheesecloth and drape in the openings of the tent. Then take your left over cheese cloth and drape over your table tops! Add some spooky music, a fog machine and your all set! Happy Halloween!

Food Drive

Ace Party Rental is sponsoring it's first annual Turkey and Tents food drive benefiting Gleaners Food Bank Friday November 6, 2009 from 11am-6pm. Visit Serenity in downtown Zionsville or Patrick's Kitchen & Drinks in Boone Village. Drop off your canned good items there and receive a gift card redeemable in January!
